How to Opt In

SMS messaging is completely optional. To opt in to receive text messages from Household Finances:

  1. Log in to your Household Finances account
  2. Navigate to your Account Settings
  3. Find the SMS Expense Tracking section
  4. Enter your mobile phone number
  5. Complete the SMS verification process by entering the code sent to your phone

By completing this process, you are giving your explicit consent to receive text messages from Household Finances.

The number of text messages you receive depends on your account activity and settings:

How to Opt Out

You may opt out of receiving text messages at any time using either of these methods:

Opting out takes effect immediately. You will receive one final confirmation message. If you continue to receive messages after opting out, please contact support@householdfinances.com.

To opt back in after opting out, text START to our messaging number, or re-add your phone number in your account settings.

Message and Data Rates

Standard message and data rates from your mobile carrier may apply.

Household Finances does not charge for SMS messages, but your carrier may charge you for sending and receiving text messages based on your mobile plan.

Please consult your mobile carrier's pricing plan for details about messaging charges.
